The merino blend is soft and adaptable to the vagaries of streamside weather. Plus the camo pattern helps my sneak up on educated trout in clear water — although I got a little too close to a moose cow and calf here, in Idaho.

I didn’t know a wool hoody could feel so nice in the sun - keeps your body temperature regulated well. Plus the design is sick so that helps.
